2. Michigan Wolverines

This is the one I’m hoping I’m wrong about because, well, I’m not going to sit here and lie about it: I’m a Michigan State alum. It pains me to say anything nice about Michigan. And yet here we are.

The Wolverines have won two straight Big Ten titles after Jim Harbaugh was nearly canned following the 2020 season. Man, are Michigan fans ever happy that the athletic department decided to stick with Harbaugh despite his struggles against Ohio State and Michigan State and lack of Big Ten titles from 2015-2020.

With two rings now, Harbaugh has injected new life into the program and he’s also fresh off back-to-back playoff berths. Michigan is the class of the Big Ten right now.

I always knew Harbaugh was a solid coach and while I got my jabs in when he was struggling to beat his rivals, I felt like it was just a matter of time before he reached his potential.

It feels like Michigan currently has a brighter future than Ohio State in the Big Ten.
