Jayden Daniels returns for LSU and Brian Kelly has the program trending in the right direction. He made the SEC title game in his first year as head coach and expectations should be even higher in 2023 with a veteran quarterback and an elite recruiting class coming in.

However, this one will be played in Oxford and the Rebels will be looking for revenge for last season’s loss in Baton Rouge.

Ole Miss makes yet another statement here with an upset win.

Prediction: Win (4-1, 1-1)

Arkansas, like Ole Miss, is one of the teams that I think will improve quite a bit next season. The Razorbacks were slightly disappointing in 2022 but with KJ Jefferson and Rocket Sanders back, the sky is the limit for this team coached by Sam Pittman.

But this isn’t one of the games that I believe the Razorbacks will steal next season. It’ll be close throughout, however, and I could see Arkansas holding a late lead before Jaxson Dart throws a dagger passing touchdown to put the Razorbacks away.

Prediction: Win (5-1, 2-1)
