When Arkansas flipped Isaiah Sategna from Oregon, it felt like a home run for Sam Pittman. He was one of the Ducks’ top recruits and he immediately became the No. 1 signee in the Razorbacks’ 2022 class. He had ‘future WR1’ written all over him.
Sategna was the No. 137 overall recruit and 23rd-best receiver in the 2022 class, according to the 247Sports Composite, and he’s from Fayetteville so the fit just made sense.
Now, after just one season with the Razorbacks, Sategna is going to be fighting to make the two-deep, especially after they brought in a number of receiver transfers. He had just two catches for 12 yards as a true freshman and I can see his role exploding this season with Matt Landers, Jadon Haselwood, and Trey Knox all gone.
Arkansas needs a top receiver to step up, so why not the athletic home-run threat? Sategna has the ability to turn a screen into a touchdown on any given play.
I’m buying all the stock in Sategna before 2023.
