I think Seydou Traore may be the most overlooked transfer on the roster. There’s a lot of talk about Travis Hunter or the other 24 transfers coming in this offseason, but the fact that Deion Sanders was able to land one of the best tight ends in the nation from the portal was a sneakily elite move.

Traore was really good at Arkansas State last season and finished with 50 receptions for 655 yards and four touchdowns. He was arguably the best weapon in that offense.

Now, he’ll be taking over as Colorado’s starting tight end and he’s going to put up some big-time numbers. This offense should be vastly improved with a new quarterback, a new running back, a mostly-new offensive line, and a potential new WR1. Add in a tight end like Traore and he’s going to flourish in Boulder.

Colorado is going to utilize Traore correctly and he could be one of the best tight ends in the Power Five next year, let alone an instant-impact newcomer.

I have high hopes for Traore.
