With Jadon Haselwood and Matt Landers gone, Sam Pittman needed to reach into the portal to find some replacements and he did just that with Tyrone Broden along with Isaac TeSlaa and Andrew Armstrong. But I think the former is going to have the biggest impact right away.

Broden is one of the biggest targets that Arkansas has had in a while, standing 6-foot-7 and 210 pounds. He’s a mammoth receiving target and a legit red-zone threat and he had a decent career at Bowling Green but he’ll now have the best quarterback he’s ever had in KJ Jefferson and he should benefit right away.

The lengthy receiver has caught 68 passes for 1,102 yards and 12 touchdowns over the past two seasons and that’s going to be a welcomed sight.

While he’s not the big-named receiver from the portal that Haselwood was last year, he could have just as big of an impact. I could see him approaching Haselwood’s numbers from last year which saw him finish with over 700 yards and three touchdowns.

I’m buying stock in Broden now before he blows up.
