Orange bowl projection: Penn State vs Florida State

Florida State is a top-10 preseason team and won 10 games last season. Jordan Travis is coming back and the Seminoles have a ton of talent.

It’s crazy how far Mike Norvell and the Noles have come in a year and it’s going to lead them to an ACC championship. However, the ACC doesn’t get that much respect from the committee and I don’t see the Seminoles making it to the championship week undefeated.

I see the Noles facing Clemson in a rematch from the regular season, but this time, on a neutral field, they will win but they’ll just miss out on the playoff. Their opponent will be another team that was in the middle of the playoff hunt — Penn State.

The Nittany Lions have to play at Ohio State, but get to host Michigan and with five-star Drew Allar, it’s possible there could be a three-way tie in the Big Ten East. I see Michigan coming out on top but the Nittany Lions will win enough games to be back in a major bowl.
