Isaiah Foskey, EDGE: Early-to-mid second round

I’ve been a big fan of Isaiah Foskey for the past two seasons as he grew into Notre Dame’s top pass rusher and really excelled, becoming an All-American in 2022.

The growth that we saw from Foskey throughout his career in South Bend was impressive as the former four-star prospect went from lightly used as a freshman (playing in just three games) to much more productive as a sophomore with 20 tackles, five tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. Then he really broke out as a junior with 52 tackles and 10 sacks before putting up 44 tackles and 10.5 sacks in 2022.

Foskey is now projected to go somewhere in the second round and I think he may actually end up as one of the best value picks in the draft for a team that doesn’t snag him in round one. He’s an elite athlete who I think is just scratching the surface as an edge rusher.

I see Foskey going in the early or middle part of the second round to a team like the Rams, Cardinals, Raiders, or Seahawks.
