4. 3-star QB Deuce Adams to Louisville

The Cardinals landed their quarterback in the 2024 college football recruiting class in Deuce Adams this week. He’s ranked 829th overall in the 2024 class out of Texas and is 6-foot-2, 179 pounds.

Adams is ranked as the 49th-best quarterback in the 2024 class and Baylor, as well as Washington State, were among the top pursuers. He had a total of six power-5 offers and 14 total.

Yet, he’s a guy with some dual-threat capabilities and according to 247 sports, he should be a great fit for the new offense being run under head coach Jeff Brohm. Adams ran for 290 yards last season in high school and threw for over 3,000 as well as 34 touchdowns.

It’s nice to have a guy that can run when needed and in the pass-happy system Brohm likes to run, Adams should be a great fit.

3. 3-star QB Hauss Hejny commits to TCU

Hauss Hejny might not be a high-ranking recruit, but he’s a dynamic athlete and if that can translate over to TCU as it has in Texas high school football, this move will work out just fine for the Horned Frogs.

Hejny committed to Duke not that long ago before the Horned Frogs started making a push for the 43rd-ranked QB in the 2024 college football recruiting class. Hejny is just 5-foot-11 and is ranked 763rd overall, as well as 114th in Texas.

Baylor, Cal, and Duke were some of the top rivals for TCU as the Horned Frogs landed a dude who threw for over 2,000 yards as a junior and ran for over 1,000. He also runs the 100-meter dash in sub-11 seconds, so there is a definite upside here, and a great fit for a spread system.
