Ranking the 10 best helmets in college football

1. Oregon Ducks

I’ve ranked a lot of “classic” helmet looks high on this list but my No. 1 favorite look(s) in all of college football has to be the variation of designs that Oregon has.

I’ll probably get a ton of hate for this pick as the No. 1 helmet, but Oregon has the best overall looks in the nation.

I have a tough time ranking the best Oregon helmets, actually, because a lot of them are really, really good. Just ignore the fact that Oregon has a different look essentially every time it takes the field, it has had some home run looks. Nike has knocked these helmets out of the park.

Some of my favorites would have to be the neon green on matte black look, the chrome helmet with wings, the yellow helmet with a green “O” logo, the yellow helmet with chrome wings, and probably my overall favorite: the matte green helmet with the yellow “O” logo.

There are so many good ones and it’s actually tougher for me to pick a bad one.

Oregon may not have a “classic” look, but it does helmets right.
