Ranking the 10 best helmets in college football

6. Ole Miss Rebels
It feels like it’s only a matter of time before Ole Miss brings back an alternate helmet with the Rebel mascot on it like the one it featured in the 1970s and 1980s. And when it does that, it might be one of the best alternates in all of college football, especially if it’s featured on this light blue background like the script “Ole Miss” is.
Probably one of my least favorite helmets also comes from Ole Miss, though. So I have to be clear that the powder blue helmets with the red lettering is the best one.
In my (controversial) opinion, these versions of the LSU helmet are actually the best the SEC has to offer. Yes, better than LSU, Alabama, and Tennessee.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a better-looking powder blue helmet in sports. The Rebels just knock this look out of the park, especially when they match it with the powder blue jersey. That’s the best look in the SEC, in my opinion.
I’m sure I’ll get a lot of hate for this pick, but I’m not wrong and you know it.
