4. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Is Notre Dame’s helmet the most iconic in all of college football? I would say it’s top three and it’s really hard to dislike a golden helmet.

I would bet that 95 percent of people would be able to tell you which school this helmet belongs to, regardless of if they follow college sports or sports in general. It’s just that recognizable and it’s honestly just a beautiful helmet.

Yes, I know it’s plain. It’s literally just a gold-painted helmet and the movie Rudy showed us just how easy it is to paint them one color, but that doesn’t make it less beautiful.

Notre Dame’s helmet is a perfect mixture of iconic, eye-catching, and soothing on the eyes. It’s just everything you want in a helmet and doesn’t try to do too much.

The Irish do a good job of not messing up a good thing.
