1. TCU

Do I think Tyler Buchner ultimately ends up at TCU? Not really because although he did receive an offer from the Horned Frogs out of high school, Gary Patterson was still the head coach. He and Sonny Dykes don’t exactly have a relationship.

But there’s still a chance.

TCU just shocked everyone and made the national title game this past season with Max Duggan at quarterback and he was even a Heisman finalist. Dykes got the most out of the veteran quarterback and he seemed to improve in just about every category under his new head coach. Buchner could have that same progression under Dykes.

Like Duggan, Buchner is a dual-threat who possesses toughness and he has a strong arm. He just needs some fine-tuning under the right coach and Dykes could be just that.

Plus, TCU is looking for a quarterback with Duggan gone. The Horned Frogs have been trending with Oregon State transfer Chance Nolan, but Buchner may be a more intriguing option.
