2. Michigan football

The Wolverines were our college football recruiting winner for the month of March and they finished as the No. 2 team in April after another strong month.

Michigan football just got the commitment of top-100 tight end Brady Prieskorn, who is the No. 2 player in the state of Michigan in the 2024 class, as well as 55th overall in the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Prieskorn is 6-foot-6, 225 pounds, and a stud. He was a huge get, but that wasn’t the only big get for Michigan football in April.

The Wolverines picked up four-star offensive tackle Andrew Sprague (154 overall), four-star offensive tackle Blake Frazier (217th overall), and four-star defensive lineman Jerod Smith who is ranked No. 284 overall.

Michigan football also landed its center of the future in Jake Guarnera, who is No. 458 overall. The Wolverines also took over the No. 1 ranking in April and have 15 commitments. 11 of those 15 are ranked as four stars or higher.

The NFL draft should also help Michigan keep rolling in the recruiting wins because of the nine players drafted last weekend, only one U-M player was ranked in the top 300 as a recruit.

That’s elite development and should get more elite talent to want to play for Jim Harbaugh.
