1. Ohio State football

Michigan had a really good month on the college football recruiting trail, but it didn’t quite match what Ohio State football was able to do.

Yes, the Buckeyes are ranked No. 2 right now in the 247 Sports composite rankings for the 2024 class, but they also landed seven commitments in April. Six of those commitments were ranked as four-star prospects with three being ranked in the top 100.

The biggest get for Ohio State football in April was five-star wide receiver Mylan Graham. He’s 6-foot-1, 170 pounds, and is the No. 4 wideout in 2024. He’s the second five-star receiver committed to Ohio State.

Air Noland, the No. 6 quarterback in the 2024 class and 65th player overall also pledged to the Buckeyes, which was another big recruiting win. Top-100 running back James People also committed and the Buckeyes are No. 2 right behind the Buckeyes.

It will be interesting to watch those teams duke it out, although, in the end, I expect Georgia or maybe Ohio State to take the recruiting title.
