Re-classification is huge for Kentucky

Boley was being recruited heavily by a bunch of programs but one that had strong interest was Michigan. The Wolverines also have Jadyn Davis committed and U-M quickly quashed the idea of taking Boley in the 2024 class.

However, Boley always said he was going to choose a school first, and then a class. Kentucky ended up being the perfect fit and his re-classifying for the 2024 class (now official) could be ideal for the Wildcats who will be in need of a starting quarterback next year (2024).

Boley is a big kid and he’s going to be physically ready for college football. Enrolling early will be important too, but if he’s ready, the Wildcats would have him potentially ready to start next season after Leary hopefully has a big year and is drafted into the NFL.

Either way, the Wildcats are building a pipeline of talented quarterbacks, which is a really good sign for the program moving forward, especially since Boley will be joining the program much sooner than expected.
