3. Navy vs Notre DameAer Lingus College Football Classic,  Dublin, Ireland

This will be the 95th meeting between Notre Dame and Navy with the Fighting Irish holding a 79–13–1 series lead. What initially started in 1988 as part of a promotional campaign to mark the Dublin millennium celebrations has almost turned into an annual event that attracts tens of thousands of Americans to Dublin, Ireland.

According to the Irish newspaper Independent: There are 40,354 international fans traveling for this contest including 39,176 traveling direct from the US – a number described as “a new world record for the largest number of Americans to travel internationally for a single sporting event”. NBC will televise the event at 2:30 PM EST.

This will be the third time that the rivalry will be played in Dublin. Notre Dame will be a heavy favorite as year two of the Marcus Freeman era starts in South Bend. Navy will be breaking in a new Head Football Coach and looks to be a three-score underdog.
