College Football’s Five Must Watch Neutral Site Games in 2023

5. Louisville vs. Georgia Tech – Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game, Atlanta, Georgia

This will be the third all-time meeting between Louisville and Georgia Tech. This will be both the Cardinals and Yellow Jackets’ third appearance in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff game. Both teams are 0-2  in the  Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Games. The Cardinals finished their 2022 season strong as they throttled Cincinnati in the Fenway Bowl 24-7.

Louisville’s new head coach is Jeff Brohm, who coached Purdue last year and is changing the program’s identity from a run-heavy to a pass-heavy scheme. Quarterback Jack Plummer looks to lead the Cardinals in 2023.

Georgia Tech went 4-4 after firing Geoff Collins after the first four games of 2022. Coach Brent Key was hired full time and he then brought in Air Raid disciples OC Buster Faulkner and OL Geep Wade to help install his vision for Yellow Jackets football moving forward.

They will have a quarterback battle deep into fall camp. It will be exciting to see which team can secure their first Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game victory in the 2023 season opener.
