2. Oregon

In most months, Oregon probably would have claimed the top spot among college football recruiting winners for the Month of May.

The Ducks landed four-star quarterback Michael Van Buren, who is ranked 130th overall and 11th at his position. Yet, he was one of four four-star commitments for Oregon in May. Ify Obidegwu is the top-ranked pledge in the Ducks’ 2024 class and he committed on May 7th.

Xadavien Sims is another blue-chip receiver, who is ranked 203rd overall, and he also committed to Oregon in June. Dillon Gresham was another four-star addition for Dan Lanning and company in the 2024 college football recruiting class.

The Ducks closed the 2023 class really strong and while there is a long way to go in the 2024 college football recruiting class, they are sixth overall, and 11/14 commitments are ranked as four-star prospects or higher.
