9. Ohio State at Rutgers

Rutgers has struggled the past several years. Coming off of a 4-8 season in 2022 they are looking to find a way to improve their offense in 2023. They rarely scored over 20 points last season which is a recipe for losing a lot of games. Ohio State will have no problem here.

This is the last game on the 2023 schedule where the Buckeyes will win regardless of how they play. It will be an opportunity to get some younger players some time on the field and develop some talent.

Prediction: Win (8-1, 6-0)

10. Michigan State at Ohio State

Michigan State is never a guaranteed victory on the schedule, but a Spartan victory would be very surprising in this matchup in 2023. The question mark at quarterback following the departure of Payton Thorn along with a brutal schedule will be tough on Michigan State.

The rebuild to what Mel Tucker hopes to build this program into continues, and in a road matchup with the Buckeyes in Columbus a victory just doesn’t feel feasible right now. Give me Ohio State by a fairly large margin.

Prediction: Win (9-1, 7-0)
