Stanford football

Troy Taylor had a massive rebuilding job ahead of him when he took over at Stanford and so far, things are off to a really good start, at least on the recruiting trail.

Believe it or not, Stanford has the ninth-ranked college football recruiting class in 2024. That’s not likely going to stay ranked as high as signing day gets closer, but it’s still impressive.

Stanford football has as much momentum as any college football recruiting class right now and that continued over the weekend as Elijah Brown, the top uncommitted quarterback left in the 2024 college football recruiting class committed to the Cardinal.

Brown is ranked 76th overall in the 247 Sports composite rankings. Stanford football has a total of 18 commitments this month, which is pretty wild but in the past week, the Cardinal landed three blue-chippers as Dylan Stephenson, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound EDGE from Miami, Florida also committed along with Naki Tuakoi.

Mississippi running back Chris Davis also pledged on Sunday. He’s ranked 476th overall and for Stanford football to go into SEC country and land a talented running back shows you how well Taylor is recruiting right now.
