4. Benedict Umeh, D-Line, Stanford

Stanford’s new head coach Troy Taylor continues to build an incredibly good class for the Cardinal (13th overall right now via 247 Sports). On Saturday, Stanford’s 2024 college football recruiting class got even better.

Benedict Umeh, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound defensive lineman out of Connecticut committed to Stanford on Saturday. He’s ranked 81st overall in the 2024 class and 12th at his position. He fits the four-man front of Stanford too and is the first top-100 commitment for the program since the 2022 class.

3. Cameron Coleman, WR, Texas A&M

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver out of Alabama was a huge pickup by Texas A&M this past week on the Fourth of July.

Coleman is ranked 11th overall in the 2024 college football recruiting class, as well as third among wideouts and No. 1 in the state of Alabama.

A&M has the No. 9 class right now in the 247 Sports composite rankings for the 2024 class, so it’s clear that Jimbo Fisher and crew are still notching recruiting wins.

This was the second top-100 wideout to commit since June 29th for the Aggies, joining Drelon Miller who is ranked 62nd overall.

If the Aggies can bounce back from last season in the win column, a top-10 or maybe even a top-5 class will likely be in order by signing day.
