2. LSU Tigers

It almost feels like a decade since LSU won its last SEC title but that’s because there has been so much change in Baton Rouge since 2019 and Joe Burrow has been dominating in the NFL for what seems like forever now.

Brian Kelly has taken over at LSU and I’ll be the first to admit that I thought the fit would be horrible. After the first game of the season in 2022, I felt vindicated as the Tigers choked away a win against Florida State to fall to 0-1 and Kelly was even getting called out by his own local reporters.

But things changed quickly, Jayden Daniels found his footing, and Kelly coached his butt off after that loss. The Tigers actually went on to represent the SEC West in the title game, just beating out Alabama. Could that happen again this year? I think that’s very possible as the Tigers are loaded at every position while also having one of the best quarterbacks in the country back.

Buy stock in LSU because I think they may actually knock off Alabama in the West for a second straight season.
