One of these 4 teams will win the SEC football title in 2023
1. Georgia Bulldogs
Stetson Bennett may be gone along with Nolan Carter and Jalen Smith, but don’t sleep on the Bulldogs. Actually, no one is sleeping on the Bulldogs (contrary to what the players may have said after winning their second straight national title in January). No, no one is disrespecting Georgia or predicting a seven-win season here.
Although they’ll have to find a new quarterback, the choice between Carson Beck and Brock Vandagriff isn’t going to be a terrible one because both are very talented.
Plus, they’ll be helped out by a strong backfield, a top-tier receiving corps, a legit offensive line, and the best tight end in the country in Brock Bowers. There’s just no way whoever wins the starting job struggles with all of the help surrounding him.
And the defense is just going to reload yet again. The Georgia defense has been one of the best in the nation for years and that won’t change in 2023.
Oh yeah, and the 2023 schedule is a walk in the park. Anything other than 12-0 would be a shock.
