I don’t know if I’ve been living under a rock this summer, but I feel like the Zakhari Franklin transfer really flew under the radar and it’s still being underrated.

The UTSA receiver transfer hit the market this offseason and there were a number of major programs after him, but of course, Lane Kiffin was able to win him over. And he’s going to have a massive role in this offense.

Franklin’s career at UTSA was incredible.

In fact, he had over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns on 81 catches in 2021 and then followed that up with 1,136 yards and 15 touchdowns on 94 receptions in 2022. He finished his career with the Roadrunners putting up 3,348 yards and 37 touchdowns on 262 catches. That’s the type of production any coach would salivate over from a transfer wideout.

Not only do I think Franklin is going to be the Rebels’ No. 1 receiver this season, but I think he’s going to be one of the best wideouts in the country with Jaxson Dart throwing him the ball.

One of these 8 teams will win the national title in 2023. dark. Next
