13. Florida

I can picture tens of thousands of fans doing a Gator chomp simultaneously at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and it’s one of the most iconic fan chants out there. If you see the Gator chomp, you know it’s for the University of Florida.

While I haven’t encountered many Florida fans personally, I do know that they have one of the biggest followings of any program in the SEC and the passion runs deep.

These fans are longing for the days of Urban Meyer-like success and they still have dreams of the two national titles in three years back in 2006 and 2008. This program has a rich history and the fanbase keeps it alive even during the darkest times on the field.

Florida has been above average, at best, lately but they’re hoping Billy Napier returns the program to relevance.

He did bring the excitement in 2022 despite a 6-7 record as fans showed up to fill 98.5% of the stadium each week. That was 18th in the country.

Florida fans blow Florida State fans out of the water in terms of support of showing up each week regardless of results.
