12. Clemson

Clemson fans had long been in no man’s land in college football. They had a decent program to root for, but there was a reason that the term “Clemsoning” came about. It is a term used for a team failing miserably on the big stage which is what the program used to be known for.

Not anymore.

Dabo Swinney has turned things around for “little ole Clemson” and the Tigers have won a couple of national titles in the past seven years.

Clemson fans have overcome their program fighting for relevance to get to the top of college football and develop an epic rivalry with Nick Saban and Alabama. That’s been one of the most fun non-conference rivalries to watch in recent seasons and the fans make it great.

Memorial Stadium is one of the toughest places for opponents to visit and the atmosphere is one of the best in college football. It’s definitely a bucket-list venue and you just know the tailgating scene is elite.

Clemson fans didn’t get to witness a College Football Playoff season in 2022 and yet they still packed 99 percent of the stadium each week.

And the Tigers are one of the only programs with a million Facebook likes.
