2. Michigan

No one defends their teams quite like Michigan fans do. Post anything bad about the Wolverines on social media and one of their 1.5 million Facebook followers or 968,000 Twitter followers will blow up your mentions like you’ve never seen.

Being a rival fan of Michigan, I’ve seen the best and worst of that fanbase. But one thing is for certain: it’s passionate.

Honestly, I don’t think there’s a more passionate fanbase in all of college football than Michigan. If you’re looking for a fanbase to dissect an offseason highlight of JJ McCarthy casually making a one-handed catch in warmups while simultaneously bashing every opposing fan who didn’t find it impressive, Michigan is probably your jam.

I have plenty of Michigan friends. I’ve had plenty of them throughout my life and they’re especially loud when Michigan State is mediocre. They like to pinpoint your weaknesses as opposing fans and really harp on them. They’re passionate, arrogant, loud, annoying, and loyal. They’re truly the complete package.

That and they pack Michigan Stadium every week, and then some. They averaged 102.5% capacity last season.
