21. Oklahoma

One of the best fanbases out there on a yearly basis is Oklahoma. The Sooners consistently have the most passionate, rowdy, and outspoken fans. If you’re playing them, you’ll know it. If you’re criticizing them, you’ll hear it. And if your team is in a recruiting battle with them, you won’t see the end of the Sooner GIFs and memes. They’re everywhere.

Why are they so low on this list? Honestly, it’s only because of their average capacity in 2022 which was good for just 26th in the country. I get that the Sooners were below .500 on the year and it was a disappointing season after losing Lincoln Riley, but what else do you have to do in Oklahoma?

All jokes aside, you’d think the stadium would be at 100 percent capacity every single game judging by their massive social media following of over 600,000 fans on Facebook and 731,000 on Twitter.

Still, Oklahoma fans are great and they’ll probably move way up this list in 2023.
