Ohio State enters the season with a major question mark at quarterback and I actually think that could cost them here against the Fighting Irish in South Bend. Devin Brown is likely to be the starter, but will he be able to pick up a huge win on the road?

Doubtful.

I’m going with the veteran quarterback in this one on his own turf with a massive home-field advantage. I think Brown will throw a couple of critical picks and one will seal this win for the Irish.

Prediction: Win (5-0)

How does Notre Dame follow up a win over Ohio State and likely burst into the top five nationally? By having a letdown, of course.

Many people seem to be overlooking Duke which is one of the most improved programs in the nation and Mike Elko has done a fantastic job in Durham. Riley Leonard and the Blue Devils are going to pick up a huge upset win here and humble the Irish.

Prediction: Loss (5-1)
