Jeff Brohm is back at his alma mater this season after leaving Purdue and it just feels like a perfect fit. And many experts are high on the Cardinals heading into the season.

Me? I think Louisville will be decent, but I’m not buying the Cardinals as a legit ACC contender just yet. The quarterback situation is not exactly a major strength but the defense should be. I think inconsistency will get the best of the Cardinals against a hungry Notre Dame team coming off a tough upset loss in Durham.

Prediction: Win (6-1)

This will be one of the best games of the entire season. Notre Dame has one of the best quarterbacks in the country as well as an elite running back and USC has the exact same. This will be an offensive showdown between two historic programs.

Sam Hartman and Caleb Williams may be battling it out for position in the Heisman race here and I think the home quarterback gets the better of the reigning trophy winner.

Notre Dame shocks USC and improves to 7-1 on the year.

Prediction: Win (7-1)
