Do I think Pitt is a much better program under Pat Narduzzi than it was before him? Absolutely. Do I still think Pitt is average, at best? Yes.

The Panthers are two years removed from a New Year’s Six bowl berth and they went 9-4 last season but they’re going to take a step back, or two, in 2023. Kedon Slovis has given way to Phil Jurkovec and the familiar face is going to have a homecoming, of sorts, in South Bend.

But it won’t be pretty.

Prediction: Win (8-1)

Clemson is going to be one of the top playoff contenders in college football this season. Dabo Swinney has upgraded his quarterback position and it just feels like Cade Klubnik is the answer.

The Tigers and Irish are becoming a fun new rivalry and Notre Dame has shocked Clemson in the past, but I don’t see that happening here.

Clemson takes care of business at home and essentially knocks the Irish out of the playoff race.

Prediction: Loss (8-2)
