2. TreVeyon Henderson will run for over 200 yards

Five-star running back TreVeyon Henderson was often injured last year. He tried to get it going several times in 2022, but to no avail. Henderson flashed as a freshman in 2021, breaking several Ohio State freshmen rushing records, including the best single-game rushing record for a freshman, which was held by two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin.

Many expected Henderson to take another step, but it didn’t happen

Henderson is healthy and ready to roll. He had a great summer and fall camp leading into this season’s opening game. Due to Henderson’s injury, along with just about everyone in the running back room last season, many different ball carriers received opportunities last year including Miyan Williams, Chip Trayanum, and Dallan Hayden, who are all back this year, along with Evan Pryor, who missed all of last season due to an injury that he suffered during the spring.

Many believe that Ryan Day will spread the wealth among that backfield since they are so deep.

I can see the importance of doing so, especially in order to keep Henderson fresh for the entirety of the season. But that doesn’t mean he can’t go off in the opening game of the season. If he hits a couple of long runs, it isn’t crazy to think he could hit 200 yards plus by the end of the game.
