South Carolina at Georgia (-27.5) (CBS, 3:30 PM ST)

The final game for our Week 3 College Football Predictions is another rivalry matchup between the Gamecocks and Bulldogs.

South Carolina had a penchant for pulling upsets last season, knocking off Tennessee at home, as well as Clemson on the road down the stretch in 2022. Spencer Rattler has been stellar too with 698 passing yards and three touchdowns, as well as a completion percentage of 81.

Unfortunately, the offensive line has struggled. North Carolina lived in the backfield and the Gamecocks have 23 tackles for loss given up which is the worst in college football.

Georgia’s defense is only surrendering 242 yards per game and five points. Carson Beck has also been solid too. He’s hitting 72 percent of his passes and is averaging nearly 290 yards per game. UGA is only rushing for 129 yards on the ground, which is a little worrisome.

South Carolina will be the first real challenge of the season for the Bulldogs, which is why it makes the list. Ultimately, Rattler will throw for a bunch of yards — the Georgia secondary is untested, but the Bulldogs defensive front will win the game, along with Carson Beck and Brock Bowers.
