Shedeur Sanders drops a spot this week after what can only be considered an improbable comeback on Saturday night against in-state rival Colorado State.

The Buffaloes found themselves in an unfamiliar position: losing by a healthy margin late in the game. While they’ve had to go back and forth a bit over the first two weeks against Nebraska and TCU, the Rams looked like they gave the Buffaloes their toughest test yet and Deion Sanders was headed for his first loss as head coach.

That was until Shedeur Sanders put the offense on his back and engineered a comeback even without Travis Hunter who was sidelined with a big hit to the check earlier in the game.

Sanders had himself a great second half, especially the fourth quarter, finishing with 348 yards and four touchdowns with his first interception as a Buffalo.

I moved him down this week, however, because he shouldn’t have seen any struggles against a mediocre Colorado State team. This near-loss was a close call and hopefully an eye-opener for the Buffaloes.
