No. 15 Ole Miss at No. 13 Alabama (-7) (3:3O PM EST, CBS)

College football fans have been asking if the Nick Saban dynasty is over. It might be too early to go that far, but the Crimson Tide need a win this week, badly.

A loss and any hope of reaching the College Football Playoff will be all but over. Ole Miss looks like a real threat too in the SEC West and the Tide need to win this game to try and keep pace with LSU.

Jalen Milroe is going to be the quarterback this week. He’s not Bryce Young, but he can make some plays and he can run the ball. It can’t be worse than last week under Tyler Buchner, who didn’t impress and is going to need an injury to get another opportunity.

Quinshon Jenkins is only averaging 3.3 yards per carry, yet Ole Miss as a team is running for 5.1 yards per attempt. Jaxson Dart has been a big part of that and has 213 rushing yards per game. He also has seven touchdown passes and one interception.

It’s tempting to pick Ole Miss and there’s a good shot the Rebels cover the spread, but Nick Saban’s team isn’t dead just yet and people shouldn’t overreact to last week.
