1. Louisville doesn’t cover the 14-point betting line

It might seem preposterous to say Louisville wont cover the -14 line they have for Saturday’s game, considering Boston College is a bottom-two team in the ACC. However, the Eagles’ performance against FSU last week has me skeptical.

Louisville hasn’t played a complete 60 minutes of football yet this year (Murray State aside), and playing a scrappy Boston College team at home has me skeptical. I can’t say the Eagles are a good football team but they are miles better then I thought they were in weeks 1-2. Where they lost to Northern Illinois and had a very odd three-point win over Holy Cross.

Boston College and Louisville also have had very odd and weird games in recent years that are physical and high scoring. It’s hard for me to totally trust this line and put all my faith in Louisville based off their seven-point win over Indiana and Boston College’s miraculous two-point loss to FSU.

Louisville may have a dog fight ahead of them this Saturday, don’t be surprised if Boston College gives them a good run for their money. Or you a run for your money if you bet on the line this weekend.
