2. Kobe Hudson and RJ Harvey are constants for UCF

The UCF offense has been inconsistent, to say the least, in 2023, but there are two reliable constants for the Knights: Wideout Kobe Hudson and tailback RJ Harvey will always make plays for this team.

Hudson caught five balls on Saturday night for 138 yards and two touchdowns.

Harvey carried the ball 14 times for just 39 yards and a score, but he also caught two balls for 56 yards and another score.

It was further proof that, whatever happens, these two are going to find ways to gain yards and score points.

If Malzahn’s offense is going to find its way in 2023, it will be because Harvey and Hudson served as its navigational beacons. Without these two making the big plays they did on Saturday night, this game could have gotten ugly.

Instead, UCF’s offense has plenty to build on as it enters the meat of the conference slate.
