How is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner just No. 2 on this list after throwing for a season-high 322 yards and three touchdowns in a road win over Arizona State? The No. 1 guy has just been that good.

Caleb Williams has not thrown a single interception this season and he’s been as consistent as anyone in college football. He hasn’t had less than three touchdowns in a single game.

The Lincoln Riley product just seems to keep getting better and his NFL draft stock continues to rise while he makes minimal mistakes week in and week out and completes a career-high 74 percent of his passes. He won the Heisman last year while completing just 66 percent of his throws, just imagine how tough it will be for someone to beat him out if he’s up near 75 percent.

On the season, Williams has 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns with no interceptions and he’s likely going to be the odds-on favorite, according to Vegas, for a while.

But right now, I think there’s been one better quarterback in college football.
