Injuries are piling up for this Syracuse team. Isaiah Jones being ruled out for this game hurts Syracuse. Jones is out indefinitely. He has been great for them with eight receptions for 157 yards and two touchdowns. He got hurt during the game against Purdue in Week 3. Garrett Shrader will need to rely on another wide receiver like Damien Alford, who had a good game against the Army with nine receptions for 135 yards.
The Orange are dealing with other key injuries on offense such as tight end Oronde Gadsden II, who is ruled out for the season with an ankle injury.
Clemson has won the first half in 11 of its last 12 games against conference opponents. Syracuse has won the first quarter in four of its last five home games against conference opponents.
