No. 13 LSU (-2.5) at No. 20 Ole Miss (Saturday 4 PM EST, ESPN)

Jayden Daniels continues to make Brian Kelly look smart by landing the former Arizona State starting quarterback out of the transfer portal.

Daniels has improved from last season and has continued to grow as a passer. Ole Miss got exposed a little bit last week. Not really exposed, just brought back to reality.

If the Rebels are going to have a shot to win the SEC West this season, this is a must-win game. LSU could still afford a loss, as long as they beat Alabama. In Oxford, this is sure to be a tight game — LSU got all it could handle for Arkansas last week.

Jalen Milroe completed 81 percent of his passes last week and Daniels who has thrown for over 300 yards in each game this season, should have a stellar outing. The Tigers will score at least 30 points and we can’t say the same about the Tigers.

Kelly’s quarterback and the defense, led by Harold Perkins, will do enough to close out a win.
