Texas football will record four sacks

With the improved defense over the offseason, they have pressured every quarterback they have come in contact with. The Longhorns have recorded 13.5 sacks on the season and only four games in. So, it is not a stretch to say that the Longhorns will record four sacks in this game, especially since the Jayhawks need more depth on the offensive line to overcome the overpowering attack from them.

The Jayhawks will try to possess the ball more than most teams to keep that Texas high-scoring offense off the field. I expect many running plays to prevent Jalon Daniels from rushing passes and creating turnovers for his offense. Jalon Daniels doesn’t have a strong arm. But where he lacks arm strength, he makes up in his moxie, leadership, and athletic ability as a gifted dual-threat QB.

The Longhorns’ front seven will apply too much pressure to the offensive line; they will take advantage of these situations, and sacks will be recorded.
