2. Max Johnson is going to do just fine

A lot of people, including myself, were worried about the Texas A&M offense without Conner Weigman as he was lost for the season with a foot injury.

But people forgot that Max Johnson has plenty of experience.

The former LSU starting quarterback transferred to Texas A&M to be the starter but it hadn’t quite worked out that way. Until now. Johnson got a new opportunity in Week 5 and he took full advantage, passing for over 200 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 57 yards. He looked fantastic all game long and put the Aggies in a position to win.

Johnson took care of the ball for the most part and while he did have an interception, he continued to make smart plays throughout the rest of the game and led Texas A&M to a huge win.

For all those people worried about Johnson as QB1, don’t be.
