Colorado football: 3 bold predictions vs. Arizona State in Week 6
1. The Colorado Buffaloes will give up 30 points and win
Running back Cam Skattebo has been the multi-purpose back that the Sun Devils have needed this season. The Sacramento State transfer has instantly influenced the Sun Devils with his versatility and hard-running style. Skattebo has run for 318 yards and four touchdowns, adding 14 catches for 228 yards and a score. To say that he will be an integral component of the offense on Saturday would be an understatement.
Expect him to be a featured element in this game for the Sun Devils.
The Colorado Buffaloes give up 470.8 yards per game (131st FBS, 12th Pac-12), 184.2 rushing yards per game (115th FBS, 12th Pac-12), and 286.6 passing yards per game (127th FBS, 11th Pac-12). In other words, the Sun Devils are primed to have a breakout game on offense unless Deion Sanders decides to suit up himself. Expect that secondary to be prime for the picking.
Whatever the Arizona State Sun Devils do in this game, it just won’t be enough, as they don’t have the firepower to keep up with the Buffaloes. Shedeur Sander and Company are just too electric, and when faced up against a sub-par defense, they tend to have great performances. Expect the playbook to be wide open with the Buffaloes coming off back-to-back losses.
