College Football Rankings 2023: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 8
Michigan got off to a bit of a slow start on Saturday afternoon, falling behind against Indiana at home until the second quarter.
It didn’t take long for Michigan to start asserting its dominance and pouring it on, beating Indiana 52-7 after scoring 52 straight points over the final three quarters. The game was pretty much over by halftime and the Wolverines’ offense finally woke up to take care of a poor Indiana team.
JJ McCarthy had yet another quietly elite game with 222 yards and three touchdowns while Colston Loveland was his favorite target, catching three passes for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Michigan’s defense also locked down and kept the Hoosiers out of the end zone for the final three quarters.
This may be the most well-rounded team in the Big Ten right now.
