10. North Carolina State Wolfpack (1-2, 4-3):

The Wolfpack are having a typical Wolfpack season. They can beat the teams they are better than, but NC State never punches above its weight. Their losses are against teams they are even with (Louisville) or teams with better rosters (Notre Dame and Duke). This weekend is the Textile Bowl. NC State might not have a better chance to beat Clemson than Saturday.

9. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-2, 3-4):

After upsetting Miami in Coral Gables, the Yellow Jackets did the most Yellow Jacket thing ever and lost to Boston College. Georgia Tech has two likely losses on its schedule (UNC and Georgia). Can they win their other three and go bowling?

8. Clemson Tigers (2-3, 4-3):

After their 28-20 loss to Miami in two overtimes, 2023 is Clemson’s third consecutive three-loss season under Dabo Swinney. This season marks the fourth year the Tigers are not in Playoff contention. If Dabo doesn’t evolve with the times — specifically the transfer portal — the Clemson Dynasty is over.

7. Louisville Cardinals (3-1, 6-1):

If you’ve followed Jeff Brohm-coached teams, it should come as little surprise that Louisville lost to Pitt after beating #14 Notre Dame. While coaching Purdue in 2021, Brohm led the Boilermakers to an upset of then #2 Iowa. They lost to Wisconsin the following week. Purdue beat #5 Michigan State the same season and lost to Ohio State the following week. Let’s see how they do against Duke.
