No. 1 Georgia (-14.5) vs Florida (3:30 PM EST, CBS)

Both teams have quarterbacks that have been playing well. Georiga and Florida each had bye weeks but Graham Mertz has been a pleasant surprise for the 5-2 Gators. He threw for 423 yards and three touchdowns in the last game against South Carolina.

Beck also worked his way into the top 10 of our college football quarterback rankings and he’s been one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country.

Brock Bowers is going to be out this week. Oscar Delp is a former top-100 recruit who’s more than capable of filling in for Bowers. Georgia is also averaging better than five yards per rushing attempt

Mertz and the Florida offense are better. But the Georgia defense is still elite allowing just 14 points per game (seventh fewest in college football) and also giving up just 24 percent on third down conversions. That will be the difference.
