Oklahoma State football: 3 Bold Predictions for Game vs Cincinnati
By Erika Brown
Ollie Gordon will have another 100-plus rushing game with multiple scores
Ollie Gordon has been a fun player to watch. His dominance against West Virginia mainly came in the 4th quarter of the game, where he racked up 149 yards and three touchdowns against the Mountaineers. The team had no way to stop him as he bounded his way to his fourth straight 100-yard rushing game.
Statistically speaking, this should happen for Gordon once again on Saturday. So it may not be as bold, but it’s one that I look forward to witnessing.
Gordon will face a Cincinnati defense that has allowed a rushing touchdown in each of their last five games, all of which they lost. This defense also hasn’t been the best in the red zone. They have allowed their opponents to score 24 out of 26 times this year, giving up a total of 131 points.
This offense has found its footing with the rushing game and expect them to exploit the defense. Gordon is on his way to a 3rd Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and even a 3rd Doak Walker National Running Back of the Week award as well.
