Pac-12 Power Rankings
Oct 7, 2023; Tempe, Arizona, USA; ASU Sun Devils head coach Kenny Dillingham yells out from the sidelines as his team plays against the Colorado Buffaloes at Mountain America Stadium. /

12. Stanford Cardinal (2-6, 1-5):

Hats off to Troy Taylor and the Cardinal. The roster isn’t outstanding, and fans don’t come to the games, but they play hard. After getting decimated by the Bruins, they gave the Huskies fits last week. Unfortunately for the Cardinal, they might not have enough to pick off one of the teams in front of them.

11. Arizona State (2-6, 1-5):

Speaking of teams at the bottom playing hard, the Sun Devils are playing hard for first-year head coach Kenny Dillingham. If they had an offense or a healthy starting quarterback, they might have beat Washington. They found a way against Washington State, and they play Utah without a quarterback next weekend.

10. Washington State Cougars (1-4, 4-4):

The Cougars are amid a three-game skid, and no one knows what to do. Stanford could be the elixir for that slide. As good as Cameron Ward has been this year, it’s been the defense that has let the Cougars down. With four games left, they need to find two wins on their schedule.

9. Colorado (1-4, 4-4):

Coach Prime did a Narduzzi after Colorado’s loss to UCLA:

Coach Prime has put on front street many things we know coaches say but never say aloud. These comments are some that you might not want to say aloud. He’s frustrated because they aren’t winning. However, you want to avoid the quit factor. They still need two wins for the postseason, but they will be hard to come by.
