3. Arizona State football Wins
Arizona State football pulling the upset as a significant underdog is a bold prediction, but they are playing well at the moment. Let’s not forget that two weeks ago they played a tight game with the Washington Huskies that took until the 4th quarter to decide. The Huskies eventually pulled it out 15-7. The Sun Devils are coming off a 38-27 victory over a pretty good Washington State team. Certainly not a game we would have predicted they would win when the season started.
Utah football on the other hand is coming off a huge loss against the Oregon Ducks. They also have Washington coming up next week. The fact that this game is sandwiched between those two is a perfect storm for Arizona State. They have a chance to capitalize on the big game hangover, and also perhaps catch the Utes looking ahead to next week.
I believe that if the Sun Devils can come in and play a good disciplined game, they have enough to come in and get this upset against the Utes.
