2. Kansas State defense will score.

In a game where it is very likely that both teams could become one-dimensional and be forced to throw the ball, look for a few turnovers in this game. It may be that the team who wins the turnover battle will win the game.

I predict that the Kanas State football defense will score a touchdown on Saturday. Maalik Murphy is still brand new, and although he had a nice showing last week against BYU, this week is different. He will be forced to make some big throws and make the defense pay to open up the run game. If he is unable to make these throws, the offense will be one-dimensional and will struggle.

I expect there will be a few instances where he attempts a throw with a high degree of difficulty, and this means an opportunity for that K-State defense to make a play. A defensive score would be huge in this matchup on the road, and it is a real possibility.
